[Mary:] I have found I’m a little different than some of store owners in that I’ve been managing a store for about 15-20 years, and what I found with that was that I love this business. I love the day-to-day interaction with customers and so I really wanted to own my own store. That opportunity presented itself and even though I’ve been in the business for 22 years, I haven’t lost that excitement, that joy for that day-to-day contact with a customer that walks in our door. Just for some of the examples of those people coming in, years ago, I remember a woman came in and she wasn’t going to buy anything but she was a good regular customer and she just simply came in because she’d been having a bad day and she just wanted to spend some time in the store and it’s those kind of experiences, those kind of interactions that we really built from day one in this business. So as an owner, I’ll get all that, plus be able to make a living, and in many cases, a very good living, so it’s the best. It’s a win-win situation. It’s the best of all worlds. I can’t imagine doing anything different.
